GENOSYS Microneedling

Microneedling can be an alternative to laser resurfacing in patients not suitable for laser treatment or wanting to have a less invasive procedure with fewer risks. Conventional treatments frequently involve expensive and highly invasive procedures like chemical peels or laser resurfacing. These procedures have sometimes offered inconsistent or disappointing results. Microneedling is a safer alternative that improves wrinkles, acne scar, pigmentation, and stretch mark.

Microneedling Roller creates more than 500,000 channels deep into the skin's epidermis within 5-10 minutes. The active ingredients in skincare products can reach the depths of the skin more effectively than by simply applying the products topically. Microneedling creates minimal dermal damage without removing the healthy epidermis, which happens with other resurfacing techniques. Because the epidermis is left intact, the healing period is rapid. As a result, more collagen can be made, consequently allowing natural collagenases to occur.

Transdermal Delivery System

Due to the protective function of the skin barrier and the big molecular size of ingredients, about 99.97% of the applied or sprayed nutritive elements cannot pass through the stratum corneum, which is the outermost layer of the skin, but remain on the skin and finally disappear. Therefore, only about 0.03% of the applied or sprayed nutritive elements can infiltrate into the dermis. Microneedle rollers are designed to create a physical pathway through the upper epidermis to increase skin permeability. They are applied to the skin surface to puncture the upper epidermis to increase skin permeability and allow the delivery of active ingredients, increasing product penetration.

Natural Collagen Induction

Microneedling results in the natural response to wounding of the skin, even though the wound is minute and mainly subcutaneous. A single needle prick through the skin would cause an invisible reaction. When the needle penetrates the skin, this injury, minute as it might seem, causes localized damage and bleeding by rupturing fine blood vessels. Platelets are automatically released, and the normal process of inflammation commences, even though the wound is minuscule. A completely different picture emerges when thousands or tens of thousands of fine pricks are placed close to each other, and one gets a field-effect because the bleeding is virtually confluent.

Microneedle promotes the standard post-traumatic release of growth factors and infiltration of fibroblasts. This reaction is automatic and produces a surge of activity that inevitably leads to the fibroblasts being ''instructed'' to produce more collagen and elastin. Disk Type Needle

Disk Needle.png

DTS MG created the "Disk Needle Roller" system - a circular disk of a drum is formed by integrating a metal disk having a group of needles. When pricking the skin with the disk needles, the needles do not cause severe damage to the skin and can be prevented from being broken.  The circular disks and the retainers of the drum have respective simple structures. With a very dense positioning of needles, GENOSYS Roller can create much more microchannels on the skin comparing to conventional rollers.

Shape of Needle

The drum is configured to form a polygonal cross-section of six sides instead of a circular cross-section. When pricking the skin with the needles, the contact surface of each needle relative to the skin can be reduced, thus minimizing the pain.

Number of needles

GENOSYS Roller has 540 needles for 0.25mm (facial standard model), 450 needles for 0.5 and 1.0mm, and 405 needles for 1.5 and 2mm (facial models), while other rollers have approximately 200 needles. With this feature. With rolling for 10 minutes using 0.25mm standard width, about 500,000 microchannels are created.

Changeable Head System

The heads are changeable for Detachable Manual Roller, Rejuve Vibrating Roller, Body Roller and DERMAFIX. This system allows us to have an economical and hygienic design. Replacement heads are available in 0.50mm, 1.00mm, 1.5mm and 2.00mm.

Vibrating Function

Rejuve model vibrates 6,000 times per minute. When it passes the skin, it stimulates fewer trigger points with this shaking movement. As a result, it causes less pain during treatment, and it allows us to reduce the dose of local anesthetic agent.
